What you need:
2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 - 15 oz cans black beans
2 - 15 oz cans kidney beans
2 - 15 oz cans diced tomatoes
2 packages chili seasoning mix
shredded cheese
This is a TON of chili. We had straight chili the first night. Another night, we had chili cheese dogs. The last night we ate hamburgers with chili cheese french fries. Hmmm... Okay let's get started.
1. Brown the beef in a large skillet. Then rinse and drain it.
2. Put onion, garlic, and green pepper in and saute a little.
3. Toss in the chili seasoning and mix well.
4. While that sautes, empty all the cans in to the slow cooker.
5. Pour beef mixture in, mix it around, and set the heat on low. Cover and cook 5-6 hours.
6. Check out the mess you made.
7. Clean it up. (*Sparkle*)
8. After the 5-6 hours, serve it up, and top with shredded cheese. I like it with bread. D likes it with Ritz crackers.
