DIY Custom Glittered Shoes - {Tutorial}

E has this adorable outfit and I was having a tough time finding shoes that matched it just perfectly, so what did this crafty mama do? I made some that matched perfectly,... of course!!

What you'll need:
One pair of adorable shoes (I got mine at Payless for $9.00)
Base spray paint
Glitter Blast by Krylon
Clear Sealer Glitter Blast by Krylon
Shoe embellishment
Hot Glue

1. Take a couple sheets of paper towel and stuff them in the shoes so that you don't get any spray paint on the inside.

2. Spray a few light coats of the base spray paint on the shoes. Let dry between coats.

3. Then, spray the Glitter Blast over it and after that dries use the Glitter Blast Clear Sealer to seal the paint.

4. I decided it needed some kind of bling on the toe (of course!) so I used some of this ribbon I had lying around from our Autumn decorations:

And made little bows for the toes and applied them with hot glue.

And with that, I have one pair of super cute bronze shoes to match this super cute little girl's outfits.

Purdy shoes!!

  6. That is a great idea! I have a little girl that loves sparkly shoes, but the sequins on them always rub off. I'm going to keep this in mind for Christmas!
