Stairs (Looking down to the landing)
These are pictures of the job halfway through. The stair skirt that you see on the sides of the stairs, will be painted white. The nose of the stairs will be stained to match the color of the wood floors.
Stairs (Looking down to the foyer)
Stair skirt will be white. Stair nose will be stained to match flooring.
Stairs (Looking up from the landing.)
The stair skirt and the rise on the stairs will be painted white. The nose of the stairs will be stained to match the wood floors

ReplyDeleteLove the changes you've made, especially the floors, as that project is on my to do list this year as well (stairs included). I long for the wood stairs you have vs. my icky carpet! The room is coming together beautifully, and the color palette is just lovely.

ReplyDeleteDid you guys install the can lights or did you hire an electrician? I need to do the same thing in my living room.
Thanks!! We had an electrician come out and do it. I think it was $75 for each can light plus another $50 to have the light switch on the wall changed to a dimmer. Thanks for the question. :D
